The word “SPA” (from Latin «sanus per aqua» means «health through water») has been known for over two thousand years. Today it is becoming increasingly popular among experts and customers. Spa industry is gaining global recognition, proven by worldwide customer service revenue growth during the last five years in America, Europe, Southeast Asia.

Now the global SPA boom has reached Russia in 1998. Russia today is a rapidly developing country with a great potential in the beauty industry market.

    National Guild of Spa Experts is a non-profit partnership registered on December 1, 2004. Guild's members have an opportunity to visit our meetings and events, settle many questions, sign contracts with different countries of Russia, get acquainted with world's tendency of business development and visit SPAs in Russia and abroad within the framework of Guild's programs.

    Spa publishing house: The Guild issues specialized magazine - «SPA report» which gives Russian SPA experts an excellent opportunity to get. Also the magazine represents Russia at the international SPA-market. Frequency – 4 times per year. “SPA Report” and “SPA Report: Guide” are the magazines for the SPA-professionals/specialists and end-clients respectively, which promote SPA-services concept, introduce standards and criteria, communicate trends and information, and gives excellent opportunity to get news and information from all over the world and Russia specifically. Series of books already issued and stated in plan under the brand of the Guild (“SPA Industry Today”, 2006, “SPA Management”, 2007, “SPA Cuisine”, 2008). The 6th of May 2009 is the first day of sale the analytical book “The Work’s standards of beauty staff business”. Our series aims to create educational basis for those working in the industry.
