Welcome!Guild’s of SPA Europe TripGuild’s of SPA Europe Trip12-18 October, members of the Guild of SPA traveled to Switzerland and Germany. In this time period we have managed to visit Interbad fair in Stuttgart, SPAs in Zurich, Black Forrest, Stuttgart and Baden-Baden and enjoy warm autumn in Europe. We were happy to welcome and spend several days together with: Alexandr A. and Leyla Barbakadze (“Boloshie Soli”, Yaroslavl), Tatiana Golytsina (“Kimberly Land”, Moscow), Natalia Petrovskaya (“Koroleva”, Kostroma), Larisa Solodkaya and Tamara Sidorova (“SPA Loren”, Nijni Novgorod), Tatiana Ibragimova (Volgograd), Olga Gulkova (“Iera”, Moscow) and our special guest – winner of the contest “Best Banya Specialist 2008” – Ilukhin Valentin P. We are grateful to all participants for their support and activity in our intense and diversified business trip. 12-14 October was marked by the stay at one of the best five star hotels of Zurich – The Dolder Resort. SPA was newly opened in April and occupies 2000 sq.m. SPA Manager Jann Hess made a tour for us, answered our questions. We tried out the treatments and could build the impression of the atmosphere based on personal experience. Marina Kuchurkina (Director of the Guild) conducted a meeting with PR-Director – Vanessa Flack – and presented an issue of the book “SPA Industry Today” and magazines “SPA Report” for the SPA Library, so that Russian-speaking guests (who make up 30% of the guests) could find professional related literature in the native language. We have also found projects of mutual interest and will continue negotiations. We thank PR Columbus agency for exquisite assistance in arrangement of the meetings. 13 October we visited “Globus Spa” in one of the trading centers of Zurich. 14 October, on the way from Zurich to Stuttgart we found ourselves in an outstanding place – Badenweiler in the Black Forrest. This city is the meeting point of Switzerland, Germany and France; it is rich in thermal water and Mediterranean nature. Badenweiler is considered to be the direct follower of the trends from Baden-Baden. We got introduced to the owner of the medical SPA – Kellner’s SPA. It is family business. We enjoyed staying with the Kellners and continued our way to Stuttgart. 15-16 October, the Guild of SPA worked at the booth on the Interbad Fair, conducted meetings with the colleagues from previous fairs and new participants from Germany, Slovenia, Baltic States, Ukraine, etc., and took part in the SPA Business Conference. 16 October we managed to visit three times Best SPA Hotel in Europe (including 2008) by acknowledged by SPA Finder - Brenner's Park-Hotel&SPA. Our tour was arranged by the SPA Manager - Mr. Hans-Peter Veit. We took the chance to stay for dinner in that historical place and found ourselves surrounded by the famous guests from Moscow and accompanied by exquisite dishes representing SPA-Cuisine. Books and magazines of the Guild of SPA were passed to the library to meet the demand of the Russian guests (50%). 17 October, day SPA of Stuttgart - Beauty Royal Kosmetik&Spa was kindly advised us for visit by the business development manager of SpaFinder in Germany - Ms.Katharina Iglitzka. "I thank the whole group for courage and team spirit!!! I am very grateful to all parties who has assisted us. We have met the professionals, brought new ideas and topics for discussion. The result was expected. Some colleagues of the industry were not aware of us and our performance, so we spent our time for presentations" (M.kuchurkina, director). We would appreciate in future if you come to us after short scan of our dossier. Full version of the report in the trip will be available in 4th issue of “SPA Report” Äàòà: 22.10.08 Âåðíóòüñÿ â íà÷àëî |
